Looks like Commodore is getting into the phone business (
https://commodore.net/callback/). They are trying to bring phones back to the 90s or earily 2000s tech with a flip phone with limited apps. This may be a good idea especially with all the laws the govt's of the world are trying to pass with tracking people. I was thinking about putting GrapheneOS (
https://grapheneos.org/) on my next phone just because govt's are overreaching in a lot of areas of our privacy and of course just getting away from all the social media might be a good thing especially for the kids first phone. I think the only hard sell for this is that it is over $400 ($600 for founders edition, which looks nice) for right now, maybe if they sell a lot maybe the price will come down. I understand why its expensive they don't get the deals like the big boys (Samsung, Apple, Google all get for creating silicone).
I got my email about this and getting access to pre-order, I wonder if I can use this with any carrier??? But SailfishOS is all Linux based so this could be interesting what people could do with this phone/OS later...
