Hi all. I'm Peter, the developer of SPATION, a free top-down 3D space sandbox MMO that runs in the browser. No download, no sign-up; you are flying in about 10 seconds.

The part I care about most is the flight model: real Newtonian orbital physics with inertia, planetary gravity and orbits. This 15-second clip shows what that means:

Flight Assist is off and the ship is falling toward Boreas, a ringed gas giant. At the lowest point of the fall there is one burn, speed goes from 90 to 163 u/s, and the slingshot throws the ship back out.

Around the flying there is a full loop: mine, refine, craft, fit ships, fight pirates. The farther you go from stations, the better the rewards and the higher the danger. The world is shared and online, but small and early, so outside set times you may fly alone. We fly together every Sunday at 20:00 CET (Flight Night, next one Sunday 8 November, 20:00 CET): https://discord.gg/enK4bbSEcw

Play: https://spation.lotusinnovations.eu/?v=ssc-a (desktop PC browser, mouse and keyboard, for now)

One ask: fly with Flight Assist off and tell me where the physics feels wrong or unclear. In game: Esc -> Feedback / Bug, or reply here.
