Wasp hunting in ARC Raiders is much easier when you approach it as a planned farming activity instead of a series of random encounters. Players working toward rare components, useful materials, and ARC Raiders BluePrints can save considerable time by choosing the right map and preparing a route before entering a raid. The objective is to create repeatable encounters while keeping the risk of losing valuable loot under control.
Recent changes from Phantom Targets Part 2 have made enemy density more important when choosing where to farm. Some locations now provide better conditions for natural Wasp encounters, while others are more useful for collecting the equipment needed to create additional waves. With the right strategy, ARC Raiders BluePrints and rare components can become part of a much more organized extraction routine.
Where to Start Your Farming Route
For solo players, Transfer Depot on Riven Tides is a particularly practical location. Natural Wasp patrols appear regularly enough to make the area worth revisiting, and there is generally less pressure from competing players than in some busier areas.
The main benefit is consistency. A farming location does not have to produce the largest possible number of enemies if it lets you repeat your route without constantly being interrupted. Learning the patrol areas and nearby escape routes can make your runs much safer.
Blue Gate is more useful for resource preparation. Look around extraction areas for Snitches and focus on collecting their scanners. Depending on the raid, you can build up a substantial supply of Snitch Scanners before moving into dedicated Wasp farming.
For groups, Buried City offers another strong option. The back section provides defensive terrain that allows a coordinated squad to deal with repeated waves without exposing themselves unnecessarily. This becomes especially useful when several scanners are available.
Learn the Snitch Timing
The Snitch strategy is one of the most useful parts of efficient Wasp farming. Instead of spending ammunition chasing every flying machine, use the Snitch to bring reinforcements into an area that you have already prepared.
Finding a Snitch is relatively straightforward if you know what to look for. A single smoke plume rising into the sky can reveal its position. Once you spot it, use a precision weapon such as the Jupiter or Osprey to damage its rotor wings.
Do not rush the final shot. The goal is to interfere with its movement and keep it in its alarm cycle. Listen to the chimes and watch the timing carefully. The fourth alarm is the important point because the Snitch begins calling its first reinforcement wave around then.
After taking it down at the right moment, collect the Snitch Scanner. This scanner can later be deployed to create another Wasp encounter, effectively turning one successful Snitch interaction into a tool for repeated farming.
Choose Equipment for Control
A dedicated Wasp farming build should not be identical to a standard combat setup. You need enough damage to handle groups, but carrying capacity and weapon weight become increasingly important during longer sessions.
The Hullcracker is a useful primary choice for dealing with Hornets and other dangerous enemies around a Wasp swarm. For precision work against Snitches, a Jupiter or Osprey fitted with an extended barrel provides the range needed to engage them without moving too close.
Broad Shoulders is valuable because farming naturally fills your backpack. More carrying capacity means fewer forced extraction trips. Loaded Arms is another useful skill because reducing weapon encumbrance gives you more flexibility when carrying a combat loadout alongside scanners and collected materials.
Protect Your Loot
A successful Wasp kill does not automatically guarantee a successful farming run. The position where the machine falls matters. Try to bring Wasps down over accessible ground whenever possible, aiming toward their central body or thrusters.
Shooting a Wasp down over a cliff or an inaccessible area can leave the rare component out of reach. This is especially frustrating after spending time setting up a scanner encounter.
Hornets deserve immediate attention for another reason. Their ability to stun or immobilize a player can leave you helpless against the rest of the swarm. Clear them early, especially when several Wasps are already active.
Squads can make this easier by assigning one player to control Hornets while the others focus on Wasps. Clear communication is more valuable than simply bringing more weapons.
Use the Regional Schedule
Do not forget to check regional conditions before beginning a major farming session. Electromagnetic Storm conditions can improve rare machine spawn rates, making them a useful opportunity for players who are already prepared with scanners and suitable equipment.
If a favorable condition is scheduled, it can make sense to spend an earlier raid collecting scanners and supplies. Then, when the better condition arrives, you can devote the entire session to farming rather than preparing.
Make Every Raid More Efficient
The main lesson from Wasp farming is that preparation creates better results than constant chasing. Transfer Depot works well for focused solo routes, Blue Gate is useful for building scanner reserves, and Buried City gives squads a strong position for repeated waves. These choices also leave more time for exploring and working toward ARC Coins rather than spending an entire session searching for enemies.
Once your route, loadout, and Snitch timing become familiar, Wasp farming becomes much less chaotic. Players who want to skip some of the resource-building stage may also buy ARC Coins and use their available playtime more directly on exploration, combat, and rare component hunting.
