RE: EVE Universe Origins
<t>Unfortunately they will never change "point and click" system because their core game engine don't allow them to change it.It is designed to be like this. Also technology is not good enough to sustain 50k+ players online at one server especially internet connections are problem if you have more ...

RE: Vendetta Kickstarter for I-pad version
They need to go on F2P as soon as possible if they want to advance. But it is a question do they have servers capable for 10k+ players online?

RE: SWTOR goes F2P on 15 Nov
Tried, it's so WoW-like.Nothing to do, only theme park and a lot of "skeletons to kill" missions. Space is more disappointing.Such a budget and nobody inventive. There is nice story and a lot of instances for 2-4 players but that is all.No worth paying for and I am not surprised it is free now.

RE: Infinity:Battlescape @ Kickstarter
<t>Market is big enough, 300k+ subscribers in Eve says that. You have also some other games like SWTOR or ST Online with lot of players and those two are SF MMO games so they count. Jumpgate had some players and old Taikodom and Vendeta too.So it's a lot of people hanging around in SF universe ...

<r>Well maybe you two don't like it but F2P is future of MMO gaming.I understand it is not easy to switch for developers but hey its "do or die" <E>:D</E> There are a lot of successful F2P MMOs out there like WOT or in genre STO where developers did not hesitate to switch to F2P and result is - game ...

<r>I think this game should go to free to play model if they want more people to get inside game.F2P model is proven to be the best if you don't have a lot of money for adverts or you are not big production company. In this genre Eve online is well known and successful like a WOW.Any other "smaller ...

<t>I played it too, nice game.Good feeling, music, sounds etc almost like you are in that tv show or movie. But its more for singleplayer as i can see. Like an interactive movie.Ok you can PvP but i don't see point.Maybe if somebody implement similar concept but with more Eve-like, more sandbox style ...

Big alliances with a lot of corps can't find enough black-market isk-sellers to fulfill their needs.I know that because i used to work like isk-seller myself. They buy isk one way or another (regular or black market). It is a double P2P.

RE: In Search of a good Space Sim MMO...
<t>Actually in Eve if you want to be that super mega-giga corp leader, you don't need time but money, real life money. You need to buy a lot of ISK to survive, to be able to have powerful corp and to fight with your enemies successfully.Big corporation-big costs. You can buy Eve ISK for real money like ...

<t>If you want strategy single or multiplayer i think Homeworld 2 with complex mod is best choice.http://www.homeworld2complex.com/Really good.If you want MMO free or with subscription, Eve online is still the best choice because you can play it for free if you like (need time, lot of boring stuff ...
