Re: Limit Theory Reboot
Well been a while since my last post on this, I have slowed down a little on the 'old' limit theory source (ltsl is a pain to work with ;)) and started looking at the newer source where josh was using lua instead of ltsl.... and I have actually have a lot of progress.... I have this working on Linux ...

Space Prison
I came across this while steam surfing and I had never seen this game before but it reminds me a lot of 'Deep Sky Derelicts' which I enjoyed a lot, this came out in 2024. So I may pick this one up since its very similar, this one looks like it has more RPG elements...

Could we see new Amiga hardware in the future?
It seems like Commodore is really trying to get the gang back together and its nice to see news like this that maybe we could see something in the future... if the C64 was very successful (which i think it was since they sold out) that maybe these IP holders could possibly make some money if they ...

Re: Grrr I hate Spammers
I think I slowed down the spammers a little with my different questions that are asked... now you need to answer with multiple answers so I think that helps more ... yeah it could limit actual people from registering but a simple google/ai search can give you the answer if needed. But the bots will ...

Re: NMS - Cosmos Update
I downloaded everything hope to play a little, if not I have some vacation time in October I will spend time with it then... plus I heard Hello Games is doing some bug squashing right now so might be worth revisiting in a few days for the better experience. But so far a lot of the youtube videos ...

Re: STARSEEK 01 – turning an illustrated alien world into a cinematic first-landing sequence
First off, nice work in general. AI is getting very good at making video and if your writing a book/have a book as its reference material its a lot easier to iterate through the creation process.
In the landing sequence I think the ground disturbance could be a little more defined, the water on the ...

SoSE2: Harbinger Expansion
I have had these games but I have never sat down and played them I just look at it as a lot of time to invest and 'time' is something I don't have a lot of lately especially with the new baby ;)
But here is the latest expansion: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3195300/Sins_of_a_Solar_Empire_II ...

Squadron 42 ---- Delayed Again
Well it got delayed and they mentioned GTA6 as one of the primary reasons why.... wth? SC/SQ42 are not even close to similar haha... why not just tell the truth that ITS NOT READY! I bought into the kickstarter like what 13yrs ago now and SQ42 was why I bought in the first place because I loved WC ...

Re: Limit Theory Reboot
Lets see how far I get, my main setup is Linux so I am concentrating on that right now. And I am doing more documenting. LTSL is rough at times with syntax ;) But I will not know what else is in here until I dig in, I also forked the 'new' code as well to see the differences. I am hoping I will have ...

Rogue Eclipse
Rogue Eclipse has been release on steam, I don't remember it going through a 'early access' phase so they deployed right to the store, I will need to look into this game more... it says rogue-like so maybe its your dying a lot and you keep unlocking things until you can eventually beat the game ...

Looks like v1.0 has been reached and its been officially released, I will look into getting this near the end of the year I have liked what they have been building here. Looks like development will continue since v1.1 is due next year. My only concern for the game was length of playtime so I wanted ...

Re: Limit Theory Reboot
That's why I am having a go at it, being verify methodical and work one small project/feature at a time. I create unit tests/and I manually test everything before it gets committed. There is a lot of older github projects out there that could have more life if people just dedicate some time to it. I ...

Most of the systems are here for the most part they would need updating but from what I found there is a trading/mining system, the universe builder can make large universes 200+ sectors, there is warp lanes... there was a few things from his videos that I don;t see which is more advance UI elements ...
