RE: Updates Galore.

<t>Yes.I believe the plan is to treat mission briefings similar to the way they were treated in TIE Fighter. You will be briefed vocally by an officer, and then have the chance to ask certain questions afterwards that may give clues to the mission. It will all be recorded dialogue. It's a lot for our ...

RE: Mass Effect 2 is finally here!

Lair Of The Shadow Broker is out next week. And ME2 is in my opinion the greatest sci-fi game out there, though to be honest, it's more like an interactive movie. As epic as Avatar, but with a better script.

Updates Galore.

<r>OK, the title was kind of a bit misleading, because I don't have (and am not authorized to put..) physical updates, but... I'm going to back up what SirBaron said a while back, the product is in full swing. The following things I don't think he'll mind me putting here. You'll see some of them ...

<r>It's about 50/50.The Return was done with an orchestra.March To Oblivion / Lightspire Battle Theme was done with a 'virtual orchestra'. This involves playing all the notes in on my keyboard, but out comes a violin sound, flute sound, clarinet sound, {insert instrument here} sound.I prefer working ...

<r>I don't know the answer to this question, but given CryEngine's ability to handle breakable objects, I would imagine that anything is possible, Maybe even to the level of Super Stardust HD, for example... <YOUTUBE id="Jhhocl7jf3o"><s>[media]</s>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jhhocl7jf3o<e>[/media ...

RE: Is the pc dead

<t>PC Gaming isn't dieing, I would say it's very much alive and kicking.PC Games being sold at retail is pretty much dead. As others have noted, we'll all be downloading our games in the not-too-distant future and our entertainment systems will converge into one. It will not surprise me if we see ...

RE: Finally installed Win7 Pro any tips?

<t>Shant - I'm doing all my music work in Windows 7, it's flawless. I haven't had a single problem with it yet. Best upgrade I ever made. If you're running Windows 7 in 64-bit with 6-8 GB of RAM and a quad-core processor, you have a beast of a machine. Having said that, I think Win 7 would be just ...

Plus, I don't really want to give everything away! 1) Non-mission FPS stuff: Walking around your base ship for briefings etc... and conversations with NPC's. You won ...

Oh no....not 'X-Wing vs TIE Fighter' --- that game isn't fit to tie the shoelaces of the original X-Wing and the original TIE Fighter game. :)

<t>As it stands, it's a mod for Crysis. However, the plan is to make a full game using the CryEngine 2. As it stands, and based on my discussions with SirBaron (project leader who may come here and post himself) - this is what I believe our plans are.Game demo = Crysis Mod.Full Game = Stand-alone ...
